Are Herpes Just One Bump

... My blog is carbon neutral: a blog for environmentally friendly!

On Blog Feddy I read about this exciting initiative created by Machs Grun.

" My blog is carbon neutral " is an initiative born in Germany within the "Make it Green " which aims to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide. Each visit to a blog produces about 0.02 g of carbon dioxide. Imagine how much we produce every day. They will then offer to plant free of charge for blogs that will participate in the initiative, a tree that will neutralize the traces left by the blog for the next 50 years !

To participate is very simple: just create a post dedicated to the initiative and send the link to this email address: CO2-neutral@kaufda.de . They provide a nice tree to plant for us.

When I read on the website that the first part of the initiative has gone very well and that will resume in April 2011 reforestation of the Plumas National Forest. Intan are looking for new forests available for planting new trees!

For more information go HERE .

I participate willingly ... and you?

Where Things Are Inside A Car

Hello everyone!

born this month yet another new section of this blog.

E ho anche terminato with a bang: a fine 30 which is always nice! And now: the mission thesis!

books in February (read, received or purchased).

I finally completed reading began in January, See Under: Love by David Grossman (***/ 5) not honestly recommend it to anyone, unless Grossman is not exactly your favorite writer.

I ventured into reading Wuthering Heights, or Wuthering Heights, and I must admit that what you are doing difficult: the nineteenth-century English is not really the most simple and then the story is something unbearable ... I do not understand how Emily Bronte's book is more and better-known Jane Eyre Charlotte's sister ... I found it a thousand times better! The only positive thing is that I have trained with some English reading, which lately I was missing.

I bought prey discounts that almost all the publishing houses have announced in recent times:

- Saturday Mc Ewan

- After Dark by Murakami

- J. of Persuasion Austen

- The queen of the house, S. Kinsella

The last of my purchases are currently reading and I'm finding it hilarious! The Kinsella, who have snubbed for years, is making me change my mind on the chick-lit. Of course to be taken in small doses. Through

the preparation of the site www.10righedailibri.it I received a book from the publisher Garzanti, the girl who stole the stars from B. Barry. The book has been read and reviewed: the review as well as being published here on my blog, has also been reported from that site to my delight (and a bit of pride).

The female aspirations of the month.

Finally I found the polish I was looking for!

nagellak 151 marron glace

The truth is easy to find a color like that ... if you are willing to pay cifrette . I am a student away from home and I can afford. So I was hunting for inexpensive but also a glaze of average quality (ie I did not crumble after 5 minutes past the nails) when my roommate found this eye care brand that I, as a neophyte of the enamels, I did not know: Mavala . At a cost of € 4:50 I finally realized one of my goals this winter fashion! Of course ... me is great! Occhiolino

things to be ashamed of (at least a little).

Festival-di-Sanremo-2011-e1295094453355

I watched everything from beginning to end! Before anyone of you decides to stop following my blog, give me at least time to justify this madness. As usual I was keen not to follow him and find out the winner in Sunday tg of 13.30. But this year my roommate insisted on watching the first episode and I accepted. I was there in the kitchen with the PC connected to facebook when I see an invitation to a group. A group to speak ill of Sanremo. It was my salvation from a soporific evening. I accepted and was immediately love. It was a group made up of friends, relatives and friends of friends of friends, so very intimate and very free. We have all these colors. For 5 nights we stayed virtually glued to that group. Unbelievable. Unbelievable that the boys of 20/25 years have better to do on Friday and Saturday nights to stay attached to a group, and especially in San Remo. But there was a cosmic and planetary convergence for various reasons and we were all there. And I must be honest: we also had so much fun!

's site in February.

So Well and . If you live in the areas of Bologna and Ancona, do not miss this wonderful blog. Powered by Julia and Mark, is in effect a guide whose purpose is to mark those places where you eat "and so well" without even spending a fortune. Under their Manifesto, the two young explorers will offer you gastronomic events and reviews of the places that they themselves have personally tested and evaluated. Comments ironic lively and genuine await you. Dedicated to all lovers of good food.

Recipe of February.

salad with apples. image

Ok, not a great recipe, such as difficulty is equal to 0, but since I felt I became a addicted and now I'm doing to try to friends and relatives.

The ingredients are: 1 iceberg lettuce, 1 red onion, 1 apple (red), arugula, 1 lemon, 2 / 3 walnuts, garlic, salt, pepper and olive oil.

Start by cutting the iceberg lettuce into thin strips, then take the onion and cut into strips, then take the apple to be red because this is more mellow and sweet and then creates the contrast hoped, peel and cut into small pieces and sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent it from discolouring. Apart prepare a sauce made from olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon juice and two cloves of garlic chopped not too small so that it will be easier to remove later. Then in a bowl, add lettuce, onion, apple, rocket and two walnuts and chop coarsely. Pour the sauce sull'insalata thus obtained .. et voila: the salad with the apple is ready! It 'really very good, and since the preparation time does not exceed 10 minutes, may be a good idea for a quick but tasty meal.

And on this note I close the post ... culinary a strawberry month back to March , maybe not with the same categories, but certainly many things to tell you .... The next! Hello!

A Review of The Month-February 2011

Hi everyone!

The book this month is one of the leading books of U.S. independent bookstores (as read by the band with which the book is sold): The girl who stole the stars of Brunonia Barry .

barry-ragazza_che_rubava_le_stelle

Title: The girl who stole the stars (orig. The Map of Places True)

Author: Brunonia Barry

Publisher : Garzanti

Year: 2010

If I were to suggest a reading light but at the same time an exile from various schmaltz and excessive romanticism, today certainly recommend The girl who stole the stars . The title itself is very attractive - though that is true The Map of Places True - and inspires the reader to buy immediately, but while in many cases, these decoy lead to disappointment in Here you can feel satisfied with your purchase. The book tells the story of Zee young psychoanalyst about to marry her man perfect, that with the death of one of his patients, Lily , lanciatasi from a bridge after years of therapy, drugs and suffering, will find himself confronted with a past never fully addressed. The history, clinical and personal, its the patient back to the memory of his mother Maureen , she committed suicide and she suffers from bipolar personality. In the grip of guilt for not being able to help his patient, Zee decides to break from his work and its report increasingly poised and goes to Salem, the town where she grew up. It is here that the life of Zee will undergo a change. In addition to a still mysterious past to solve, the young woman will face a difficult present and problematic disease Finch, his father, a failed romance, the question of where she is conducting her life, the riddle of the death of Lily and perhaps a new The love ...

Barry tells us everything with great participation, without being missed moments of suspense typical of the kind which wraps up the story of Zee and corollaries of the characters in a veil of mystery and magic. Among witches, pirates, sailors and stories of women passionate , Massachusetts has never seemed so fascinating. The characters move between past and present, between dream and reality, looking for what a bit 'all men seek is happiness. All the players are well characterized: the reader can figurarseli from the first page and already half of the book has a specific, thus creating a sense of familiarity between the reader and characters and, consequently, greater emotional involvement. I found particularly successful characters Melville, Finch's partner, a person I'd like to know, but from the soul tormented with a big heart, and that of Justina that performs its function perfectly secondary character able to tone down where necessary.

The girl who stole the stars is a book that definitely has the aim to join the trend of best-seller, but, despite having all the characteristics to be, I feel I can say that there is something more and that the book has good literary ideas that will be explored in subsequent works by the author. As long as she agrees. Meanwhile let's enjoy reading this novel, without changing his life, he will give us a few enjoyable hours and dreamy.

Valentine's Day? I boycott ...

I boycott. Stop. Nothing to say about those who celebrate, I have celebrated in the past but this year and I my potato declined the invitation with pleasure. Here I could make a romantic and say that I celebrate Valentine's Day all year long, but it would be obvious and not so true. Beyond what I think about this holiday - to the maximum expression of consumerism that has nothing to do with an affair that makes no sense to be "the most beautiful couple in the world" one day and the other 364 be indifferent, or worse, to the partner - Valentine's Day is not our history . It will be because the few times that we celebrated it went wrong. Per non parlare poi dei san valentini saltati causa examinations or those "good" because we had a euro for two great things and reduces us to an evening at home watching a movie, what we were doing in other weekend "bills." The only difference was that we could see a romantic movie. And maybe not even that. In other words, beyond our first Valentine's Day (2003 annus domains: I still have a soft toy that gave me a nice cow with a red heart that reads "I Love You" ... you know what you're thinking, but we had 17 years at that time!) there is nothing that binds us to this feast.

And I'm also happy. I remember evenings special for me and for him in November, days of great romance a dicembre, pomeriggi mano nella mano a settembre; pic-nic dolci e zuccherosi in aprile, ma in febbraio…solitamente io sono costantemente inc****ta per il tempo e per la sessione esami e lui sta peggio di me. Fidatevi.

In conclusione: bye bye Valentine .

P.S. Mettendo da parte il mio cinismo,

Auguro a tutti un buon San Valentino!

Life Offsite

Malignancy between roommates

few years ago I lived with Among and Silvia in the mythical home of via Santo Stefano in Bologna (where, however, and I still live among ). We had a roommate with whom "we did not go very well for many reasons (one case: the forced cohabitation with her boyfriend troglodyte who lived a free ride from us almost a whole year without paying anything). On a sunny afternoon in late June, when you breathe in Bologna now only water vapor for humidity and the heat makes everything sticky and unbearable the world around you (including study books) I was busy studying in the kitchen when I hear that the roommate out of his room and immediately slam the door. Intrigued I decided to look out the window overlooking the courtyard and watch while wearing a black tank top, khaki shorts, flip flops beach style hair and held up the plastic clip from a classic, ciabatta to the large door facing the street. Suddenly perceive that the someone else is watching. Immediately I rushed into the corridor that connects all the rooms of the house and those who find? Silvia that she had the window overlooking the courtyard, had not taken the opportunity pass. We start laughing like crazy as to draw two also include coming out of his room. "What's going on?" She asks. "We have seen M. out of the house like a fury, "I reply," and both of us are curious enough to look out the window at the same time. " After a while I ask my roommates to do conspiratorial "But who knows where it will be going at this hour?" So we Silvia ironic and scornful looks to say, "Well, it certainly cured that way, it can not go very far." At that point none of the three managed to hold back and laughed so much that we hardly noticed that the "expensive" roommate came home and was looking at us viciously, as though he understood that he was talking about her. Since that day, even if we do not live together anymore, although many things have happened in recent years that have divided us, move, even for relatively long periods, every time we met we never stop to go back with my mind at that ' sultry fun, unique afternoon of June and laugh about it with the same intensity and spontaneity that day.

The joys and sorrows of the North Park

Go to North Park has always been an adventure to the limit of endurance. The first leg was not traumatic, quite the contrary: it was only a bus and get off at the right. The speech was made more difficult if al'una left home at night, when the tour bus is now finished, and then even more problematic was the return. Money for the taxi at 6 am so scarce and the only way that remains is a timeless classic: walk.

The first time I went to North Park was the end of the second year when they were still the Street Rave Parade, an event that is usually held anti-prohibitionist in the summer and that the name is already understood what was the tone of the event el 'atmosphere. That week she came to visit my sister Gilda, who was then still in high school, and I wanted to make it fun at all costs to show how life was fascinating to her university still precluded. Then accept the proposal of my friend Anna 23 and ready to go out this Rave. From the beginning, I realize that it will be a serata votata allo sfascio . Osservo preoccupata mia sorella che però appare tranquilla e rilassata: ha già legato con il fratello of Faith, who was also visiting for a few days, and both seem enthusiastic about this strange trip into the night. I think if I had to convince my sister not to put their heels that night, I laugh even then what happened later. The evening proceeded softly now. Making conversation was out of the question, not only for the deafening noise, but also because everyone around me were either lying on the ground unable to say the slightest word or intent to smoke or drink. I watch Anna and I see that she is a little impatient. Isabella seems really destroyed as well as her friend (both veterans of a devastating examination) and Faith wanted to go to home because the next day was absolutely put on books. Suddenly we realize that the only ones to be active and full of energy but my sister and brother do you lose faith in the crowd, dancing and wild with a vitality that we should have and we do not know why we did not. Finally he decides to leave. "We take a taxi?" Anna tells me. "Yes," I say without even thinking I was tired and I wanted that night to end soon. Unfortunately, the lines were intassate Radio Taxi: The Rave was about to end, and many had already had our idea. So we decide to start you for continuing to call in the hope of un taxi prima di arrivare in centro. Trascinavamo tutti i piedi esausti. We greeted the boys, who despite being completely mushy did not want to spend more money. While we await the arrival of the taxi, facing a thought in my mind. I had taken before leaving. Testing in the portfolios and we find only 3 € ... "Gilda what you have in your pocket?" "Um ... 3 € and 50 ... why?" "I'm the only money we have for the taxi!" At that point my sister takes that 'expression of panic that she probably saw reflected on my face. Quiet, I say to myself, now I go to Isa that takes the taxi with me and ask whether, in case of need, can I borrow some € ... but as I approach my hopes go shattered by observing that she and her friend, sitting on a sidewalk, count how many coins were in two. Oh porc ... now what? No time to think about anything else because the taxi has arrived. Me, my sister, Isa and her friend on the same climb. The driver looks at us badly, like we're poor skidding, and partly in the fifth. Really. In the fifth. His taxi zipping through the streets of Bologna as if he had a normal but that of a jet engine. I do not take my eyes off the meter. At the start we have a 3 € for the call at night. 4:50 ... 5.70 ... we are at a red light ... 6:00 ... 7:00 ... leave ... missing very little to get to my house when my friend says, "Um ... we should get off at Strada Maggiore. Nooooo! So stretch! I think in my head. He glares at him and made a circle that even in the pursuit of American film has ever seen. Take Via San Vitale ... 8:50 ... 10:20 ... 11:50 ... we turned in Piazza Aldrovandi ... .. we are in Strada Maggiore 12:00 ! " Ok well here goes!" says Isa. The driver brakes suddenly and my sister who sits on is found splattered on the windshield. 6 euro per couple! I can not believe we did it! When we all got out and raised to be able to pay that crazy taxi driver has come to be unharmed. My sister and I went to bed at 7.30. At 11.00 am we woke up we had to make a cake because it was my birthday dinner and my boyfriend would come and a dear friend. "What faces you! What have you combined last night? "We asked on arrival observing our bodies and faces deep dark circles. My sister and I looked at each other and we probably would have laughed out loud if we had had the strength. That evening collapsed at 7 pm and we woke up the next day. When I meet someone of the Friends of time and come back with the mind that evening, everyone remembers that triggered the My sister and her irrepressible euphoria. My sister and I thought we would like instead to slip between the covers and sleep for another 12 hours ... carefree

Feast of the Presentation of the Lord

The meaning of the holiday

Festival of Lights (cf. Lk 2, 30 - 32) , originated in the East with the name "Ipapanti", meaning "meeting." In sec. VI extended to the West with original developments: a more penitential character of Rome and Gaul, with the solemn blessing and procession of candles, popularly known as "Candlemas." In this regard it is interesting to remember the interpretation symbolic of Saint Ivo of Chartres and St. Anselm: The wax (by virginal bee) is the virginal flesh of Christ, who being born did not affect the integrity of the Mother, the wick, which is inside the wax is the human soul of Christ, the flame that shines at the top, is the divinity of Christ.

The presentation of the Lord closes the celebrations of Christmas and the offer of the Virgin Mary and the prophecy of Simeon (Lk 2, 33-35) opens the way to Easter.

The value of items in the Gospel account of (cf. Lk 2, 22-40) , such as the obedience of Joseph and Mary to the Law of the Lord, the poverty of the holy spouses, the condition of the virgin mother of Jesus, the symbolism of beeswax (vergine Christ and Virgin Mary) have suggested to the 2 February as the day of those who are dedicated to serving the Lord and our brothers in the various forms of consecrated life.
From a sermon by Saint Sofronio, Bishop

(Discourse 3, on 'Hypapante' 6, 7, PG 87, 3, 3291-3293)

welcome the bright light and eternal

that we all celebrate and worship with intimate participation in the mystery of the Lord's, we run and let's move along in the fervor of spirit to meet him. No one from drawing any refuses to carry his torch. Rather we increase the brightness of the candles to signify the divine radiance of which he is approaching and through whom everything shines after the abundance of light dispelled the darkness of eternal darkness. But above all our lamps express the brightness of the soul, with which we meet Christ. For as the Virgin Mother of God and brought intact arms the true light and went to those who sit in darkness, we too, illuminated by its light and clutching the light that shines before and all, we must hurry to him who is the true light.

The light came into the world (cf. Jn 1: 9) and banish the darkness that enveloped him, I lit up. We visited the one who rises above (cf. Lk 1, 78) and those who sit in darkness shone. For this we must now walk and run clutching the torch carrying the lights. So we will indicate that the light shone on us, and represent the glory of God that we are messengers. For this meeting we all run to God's the meaning of the mystery today.

The true light that enlightens every man who comes into this world (cf. Jn 1: 9) is coming. All therefore, brethren, Let us be enlightened, all shine. No one is excluded by this splendor, none is so determined to remain in darkness. But we advance all radiant and illuminated at him. We receive jubilant soul, with the old man Simeon, the radiant light and eternal. We raise the song of thanksgiving to the Father of light, which sent the true light, and dispelled all darkness, and made us all light. The salvation of God, in fact, the presence of all peoples, and manifested the glory of us, the new Israel, thanks to him, we saw ourselves and we were immediately freed from the ancient, shadowy guilt, just like Simeon, having seen the Christ, was loose from the bonds of this life.

We, too, embraced the faith of Christ that comes from Bethlehem, we became the people of God from pagan fact, he is the salvation of God the Father. We saw with eyes the God made flesh. And just for having seen the God present among us and have welcomed the arms of the spirit, we call the new Israel. We honor this presence in the anniversary celebrations, nor will it become possible to forget.
